Help! How do I disable the Comment and Security popup box windows? Always there on startup??

I have no idea how these started appearing. Perhaps accidentally enabled them from a keyboard hotkey? But now they are there no matter what and I always have to drag them out of the way. There's no way to close them either. First, it was just the Security window. It was plaguing me for a few months then came the Comment window. Now I have two windows in my view on startup, affecting my productivity. I searched everywhere to disable them. If there is a way, it certainly isn't described anywhere.

  Hello Belton,

  By right clicking the panel on the left and select "Reset the panel" or dragging the comment and security boxes back to the panel will reset to default view, as shown below.
