Right PDF/ Gaaiho PDF Converter has a conversion cap (default value set at "1000 pages/ 100 files per 24 hours"). To accommodate higher conversion demand, please see Right PDF TSL or Right PDF Server.
But how are conversion caps calculated?
A conversion cap of "1000 pages/ 100 files per 24 hours" means:
- 1000 pages/ 100 files: Within the 24-hour period, only when both ("1000 pages" and "100 files") conditions are met, will the user receive a "Limit is Exceeded" notice.
- 24 hours: The Converter records the time when first file is converted, and reset the conversion meter after 24 hours.
- What is a conversion? When converting other file types into PDF, it counts as a conversion (merging multiple PDF files or converting PDF files into other file types do not count).
Example 1:
Alex uses the PDF Converter in Right PDF Pro/ Gaaiho PDF Suite Perpetual license (default conversion cap of "1000 pages/ 100 files per 24 hours") to convert a 600-page Word file and 600-page Excel file respectively.
Is the conversion limit reached? How many more files or pages can Alex convert?
Alex converted a total of 2 files and 1,200 pages.
Answer: Alex reached the "1000 pages" limit, but only converted 2 files. Therefore, the conversion limit is not reached, and he can convert additional 98 files regardless of pages.
Example 2:
Thomas uses Right PDF/ Gaaiho PDF Subscription license (default conversion cap of "1000 pages/ 100 files per 24 hours") to merge 3 files (a 500-page Word file, a 400-page PDF file, and a 300-page PowerPoint). Is the conversion limit reached? How many more files or pages can Thomas convert?
Thomas has converted a total of 2 files and 800 pages (only calculates the 500-page Word and 300-page PowerPoint. The 500-page PDF is excluded).
Answer: Thomas has not reached the conversion limit. The remaining conversion rate is "200 pages/ 98 files".
