Issue
The margin settings of the converted PDF file are different from the original margin settings after file conversion.
Solution
Normally, PDF conversion strictly follows the settings of the original document, but if the margins do change in the PDF, you might need to check the settings below:
1. Right PDF Properties
There are several ways to open the "Right PDF Properties" dialog box, here is one of them. First, go to the printer list and right-click "Right PDF (or Gaaiho PDF/ DocuCom PDF Driver, if you use Gaaiho/ DocuCom)". Choose "Printing Preferences" and check page size, print zoom (default is 100) and etc.
2. Microsoft Word Options
In Word 2003, go to "Tool" and select "Options" from the menu. Move to "Print" tab and uncheck "Allow A4/Letter paper resizing".
In Word 2010, go to "File" and click "Options". Move to "Advanced" and find "Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11' paper sizes" under the Print section. Uncheck and see if it works.
