Solution
Error Code “0x20022022” typically occurs when a license becomes invalid due to hardware or system changes, such as replacing a hard drive, cloning a disk, or modifying the system environment.
If the issue is not resolved properly, the software may fail periodic license verification and eventually revert to Trial Mode.
Step 1: Release Your License
Before reinstalling the software, you must first deactivate your existing license to free up the activation slot.
- Users with 10 or more perpetual licenses:
Please use Enterprise License Management to deactivate the license manually. - Other users:
Please contact our Customer Support team. We will manually deactivate the license and confirm the status for you.
Step 2: Complete the Reinstallation Procedure
Once the license has been released, please complete the following steps in order.
- Uninstall the Software
Completely uninstall all Right PDF or Gaaiho PDF related software from your computer.
- Manually Delete Residual Folders
Go to the following paths and delete the specified folders.
Note: If you cannot find these folders, open File Explorer, select the View tab, and enable Hidden items.

- Restart Your Computer
Restart your computer to ensure that related system registry entries and temporary information are fully cleared.
- Reinstall the Product
Install the specific version of Right PDF or Gaaiho PDF that corresponds to your license.
- Reactivate the License
Launch the software and go to: Help > License Information > Activate > License Code > Online
Enter your license code to complete the activation process.
