PDF thumbnails not showing in Windows File Explorer and other folders. Instead, only the PDF icon was shown.
This is likely caused by your Windows folder view setting instead of PDF software.
- Open "File Explorer" or any folders, select "Options" under the "View" tab
- Under the "View" tab, find "Advanced settings" section and uncheck "Always show icon, never thumbnails" checkbox
- Click on "Apply to Folders" to apply the same view settings to all folders.
